DIY gels

I thought it would be cool to write up a DIY article for all those who love to save money and have free time to kill =) Anyone who doesn't own a gel might find this a bit helpful. If you don't want to waste your $20+ for a Honl gel here's what you can do.

1. Go to your local Staples
2. Print out a full page with one color. ex: Red
3. Make sure it's printed out on those overhead transparencies.
** DO NOT EVEN BOTHER BUYING THOSE TRANSPARENT FOLDERS/BINDER/WHATEVERS BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK NOR HELP IN ANY WAY **
4. Pay for it... I bought 5 sheets and cost me roughly $10 (it might be cheaper around your area)
5. Try them out.

So you save more than $10... I should say about $60+ if you're using a couple Speedlites. Each sheet can be cut up to about 4 pieces or so to use for your Speedlites. I actually use them on my AB800.

I think it's a pretty good DIY project and worth a trip. Definitely saves you ALOT of money.
